Jeffries_Small_Insert_with_PaAdding.jpgSenator Glenn Jeffries is the owner and President of Cornerstone Interiors of Eleanor, which specializes in commercial interior finishing. With his partners, he purchased and renovated the Four Points by Sheraton Charleston into a multi-use residential and commercial facility, anchoring the city riverfront. Before starting Cornerstone in 1997, he worked as a union carpenter for fifteen years. He maintains his membership in the Carpenters union.

Glenn is a member of the Putnam County Economic Development Authority, the Contractors Association of West Virginia, Chairman of the WV Workers Compensation Consortium, trustee on both the WV Carpenters and WV Painters Health Funds, trustee on the WV Carpenters Pension Fund, trustee on WV Carpenters Apprentice Organization and Past President of the Kanawha Valley Builders Association.

Senator Jeffries was elected to the West Virginia State Senate in 2016.  He serves the people of the 8th District, which is made up of Northern Putnam and Kanawha counties.

Glenn and Sherry Jeffries have been married for thirty five years. They have two grown children who have families of their own.  Their daughter Ashley Bailey and her husband Jared have two children, Eli and Emma.  Their son Austin and his wife Mandie are the parents of Jaxon Glenn. They are members of Cross Lanes Baptist Church, where they participate in many volunteer activities.  They live in Red House.
